Absolute Return Fund

Palisade Capital has designed its portfolios to provide clients with investment options offering a combination of long-term capital appreciation and regular distributions and including capital protection strategies.

Our funds are constructed for high net worth clients, family trusts, foundations, corporations and family offices.

We have a history of returning capital to our clients. This is done to mitigate market risk and enable choice and investment flexibility for our clients.

Our all-in management expense ratios ("MER") are competitive with comparable actively-managed funds. Importantly, our MER are structured to ensure alignment with our clients - we are only rewarded when our clients are rewarded.

Our fee structure is highly transparent.  Palisade Capital does not charge an initial sales fee for purchasing, or redemption fee for selling, units of the Palisade Funds.

Our funds are open-ended and may be purchased monthly at the net asset value on month-end.

Palisade Vantage Fund

The Palisade Vantage Fund (“Vantage Fund”) was established in 2008 to provide clients with a diversified equity income mandate.

The Vantage Fund is an RRSP-eligible mutual fund trust under the laws of the Province of Alberta.

The Vantage Fund is an actively managed open-end long only fund with a "total return" mandate, designed to provide investors with exposure to a diversified portfolio of multi-industry mid- and large-capitalization companies, income funds and other securities with a focus on regular income and modest long-term capital appreciation.

The Vantage Fund is invested in a portfolio of securities which pay regular dividends, distributions or interest to investors, with an emphasis on companies that can grow their dividends or distributions over time.

The Vantage Fund pays a regular quarterly cash distribution that may be immediately reinvested through an available Distribution Reinvestment Plan.

Investment criteria for security selection center around valuation, management team quality, dividend growth outlook and financial strength.

Designed with a competitive base management fee structure.

The Vantage Fund does not employ the use of leverage.

The Vantage Fund is intended for investors who: (1) are looking for multi-sector diversification; (2) are seeking a steady flow of income and modest long-term capital appreciation; (3) are looking to invest for the medium to long-term; and (4) have a medium tolerance for risk.

The Vantage Fund is eligible for registered accounts (RRSP, RESP, RRIF) and TFSA's with subscriptions available on a monthly basis.

Palisade Select Fund

The Palisade Select Fund ("Select Fund") was established in June 2016 and is the successor fund to, and continues the investment mandate of, the Palisade Capital Fund and Palisade Capital Limited Partnership, which were both established in May 1998.

The Select Fund is an RRSP-eligible mutual fund trust under the laws of the Province of Alberta.

The Select Fund is an actively managed, open-end long only fund with a growth mandate, and provides investors with diversified exposure to the full spectrum of Canadian energy – exploration and production, integrated, energy infrastructure and energy services.

The energy portfolio provides a balance between larger capitalization dividend paying entities and mid- and small-capitalization growth-oriented companies.  The fund also contains a minor component of non-energy dividend paying companies that provides diversification and helps to smooth volatility.

Disciplined application of our investment criteria and active management of cash weightings also help to mitigate sector volatility.

Designed with a competitive base management fee and performance incentive fee (“PIF”) structure.  The PIF uses a high water mark which means that we are only rewarded when our clients are rewarded.

The Select Fund does not employ the use of leverage.

The Select Fund is intended for investors who: (1) are seeking long-term capital growth; (2) are looking to invest for the medium to long-term; (3) are looking to benefit from the growth potential of companies involved in the energy sector; and (4) have a medium to high tolerance for risk.

The Select Fund is eligible for registered accounts (RRSP, RESP, RRIF) and TFSA's with subscriptions available on a monthly basis.
